The job market sucks and everyone has to deal with it. Leavitt still has a job because he's one of the best at what he does. Miller's just another kid with a Communications degree in the world. This kid just wants to pin his hardships on someone else and not own up to anything from the looks of it. Glad Coach Leavitt is back in college football and if true they talked 3 schools out of hiring him then they're messing with his life. Thats a long grudge to hold, I feel it's time for them to move on

Things change significantly when you are part of an incident and he has to accept that. Kid needs to grow up and stop acting like a victim. Its been several years now, he isn't a victim anymore. If Joel Miller the job candidate was worth hiring, he'd be employed. I'd have no problem hiring him if I thought he could help me turn a dime. But like you said, he's just another twentysomething with a Communications degree.

I think he has a very inflated sense of how much USF football means to the community if he thinks this incident is keeping him from finding work. We can't find 25,000 people to watch a game. I doubt most of the ones who care are interviewing Joel Miller on the weekdays.
