Well looks like somebody jumped the gun... 

 

@USFCollin: Deleting previous tweet as I can no longer confirm it. It’s not a done deal. Apologies to #FSUTwitter and USF. @TomahawkNation.
@USFCollin: My source was 100%, and has since actively walked it back. I apologize. It does look like FSU is looking t have a Fri. game to Sept.
@USFCollin: But that’s a rumor, and something I can’t confirm. Consider this a full retraction, and I’m sorry. A first for me, and I feel sick.

RUMOR... but I just heard they want to move the game to Sept. 12th. Official schedule release is tomorrow at 10am.

It's probably wrong, but Tomahawknation is reporting the game on Sept. 12th.

 

September 12 (moved up from September 26), USF: The Bulls went 4-8 in 2014 in their second season under Willie Taggart. There are some good athletes on the squad, but quarterback play has torpedoed the offense and if that doesn't get fixed, USF will likely be incompetent offensively yet again. USF returns 12 starters. Florida State beat USF in Tampa in 2012, and lost at home to the Bulls in 2009.

(A previous report indicated that FSU would play USF on the 18th, but the game has been moved to the 12th according to my sources)
