He could have at least got us into the ACC over Pitt and Louisville. We've had more success than either of those guys in football and basketball over the years.

 

 

 

I guess I should have said that he wasn't even trying to troll there ... just making a sarcastic funny. No way he would think someone would bite on that.

 

Never say never. Though in all honesty, it wasn't a troll. There are a lot of things you can say about Doug, but saying he's the reason we didn't get plucked from the old BE is ridiculous. Aside from market size, there's no reason in the world we made a better choice than Pitt, Louisville, Rutgers, or Syracuse.

I just took it  as an example for what most USF fans seem to somehow feel about the status of the university in the real world. I'd say it's around 90%+ who actually think that's the reality.
