We should have paid him 5x that to leave a few years ago. All the money we wasted on and as a result of that guy -- who really cares about the last million?!?!?

I would add to the following calculations:

 

1. Fire best and most loyal coach USF or CFB has ever seen = $2.75M payout

2. Write extension for me and Skippy but don't demand winning during tenure = $2.5M payout

3. Annual salary for AD rivaling P5 teams but with golden parchute = $1M payout

                                                                                             TOTAL = $6.25M (to-date)

 

Oh, and the frosting on this Woolard turd pie is paying Willie Taggart $1.2M per year for the nonsense he's produced over two seasons

You also forgot that he gave Stan Heath a new contract extension as well...which USF was left to pay for too.

Not true, it happens in Corporate America all the time.  Any position where a contract is signed has the potential for these things.
