What can our recruiters/ Taggart possibly tell these recruits that makes him such a good recruiter? The results on the field would suggest he's an excellent salesman of snake oil. But seriously, how might one sell USF football to a recruit with better offers? The beach? The weather? Must be our winning tradition and numerous conference championships. Or is it because USF is just plain cool? How long until they stop believing whatever it is he's saying to these players? Whatever it is, hopefully he can bring enough of them in for the next head coach to have something to work with right out of the gate in the near future. We may even keep him on as head recruiter if he keeps bringing us the goods.

1. Playing time.

2. Playing time.

3. Playing time.

4. National TV contract.

5. Chance to be part of some "firsts" - first conference championship, first major bowl game, etc.

6. Playing time.

7. Family atmosphere - which doesn't happen at every school.

8. Playing time.

9. NFL stadium (would have been higher, but it's been a tad empty lately - remember, Jim Leavitt said it was his #1 recruiting tool)

10. Playing time.

you forgot to include playing time

Goes back to the big-fish-small-pond marketing ploy.

it's the coaches. these coaches build a relationship with the recruits. if they feel comfortable with them then they will sign. it's why good recruiters can bring talent anywhere they go.

Maybe throwing a little bit of keesh towards the kids family? It happens.

#USF picked up a big verbal commitment last night: Arizona Western C.C. OT Glen Bethel, rated as a three-star. (H/t @USFBulls_Rivals)
