I can easily believe CWT fired the coaches on his own as scapegoats.

 

I can't as easily believe CWT wants to change the offense.

 

So I have no idea who's pulling the strings for these moves.

IMHO, Harlan is probably pulling more strings then we know. Happy to see a successful SEC DC come in. With that kind of pedigree, I don't think CWT came up with that all on his own. I think Harlan is looking toward the future both for the team and conference wise. Hope the OC is as good a hire. Now, we should see some bone jarring tackles!

I disagree. I'm not saying it's impossible to go from the high school to the pros. I'm saying it's the exception, not the rule, and how about importing some professional, high level talent from established BCS programs? I like the Allen hire for this reason.
