This is a borderline NCAA tourney team already this year.   They just played an experienced team on the road, that was an overtime away from making the sweet 16 last year, and nearly beat them, and they have only played 4 games together.

Our schedule is extremely favorable this year.   The only OOC game left we will be underdogs in will be against Bama, who really hasn't looked that great at all, and Seton Hall who is still a complete unknown.  FSU is terrible.  Hofstra will most likely be the next toughest game we play out of the OOC teams.     Then when you look in conference, everyone is way down.   Uconn has been consistently mediocre against weak teams.  Memphis lost to a D-2 team.  SMU will get better but right now just looks closer to good then great.  Cincy is really struggling right now too.  Temple, ECU, Tulane, and Tulsa all look weak already.  UCF and Houston have only played bottom feeders and didn't look great doing it at all.

I really don't think it's a stretch the way they already look for them to go 11-2 OOC, and then 11-7 in conference for a 22-9 record, followed by a win for two in the AAC tourney for a 24-10 record, which would be a borderline NCAA team.

Woah woah woah! lets slow down a little bit. NC State is good, but they aren't the same NCAA round 2 team as last season. They lost the #3 scorer in the country. None of Alabama, Seton Hall, Detroit, Georgia Southern, Bowling Green, and Florida State are gimmies either.

Yeah, slow down there Superhippy.

We're a much more exciting team than the last couple years, but we're still a 15 or 16 win basketball team this year.
