The real issue is that Bench cannot be rewarded by his own level of play. Any play time Bench gets is completely dependent on White throwing 2 interceptions and having 4 dropped snap. Bench could be slinging 90% and 30 TDS every practice but White will start as long he can pass for 40% and throw 1 TD for every interception.

Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel couldn't dethrone White.

CWT is doing a good job in some areas, but I don't understand what he's doing with the QB's.    Are the OC and QB coach on the same page with CWT regarding Mike White?

He really was...there were times that White really looked solid. It's the inconsistency that's the issue, of course.

Someone else said they saw him grimacing on TV and wondered if his arm/wrist was still bothering him. Reflecting on it, wasn't the diagnosis a fracture? Usually that puts someone out for a while, and White barely sat at all. Maybe it's more serious than previously thought and he's been playing through pain?...

I believe you are correct Taggart will keep White in there unless he has a serious injury
