As Scott watched White at practice, he was impressed by the little things he saw. http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/mike-white-hopes-to-answer-usf-bulls-quarterback-questions/1274253

White has shown improvement but Bench was never given a chance. Bench has been given several chances. In fact White never sees the field at USF if Bench takes advantage of the chances he had. Are you CWT's son or agent? are you Steven Bench's mom? he didn't win the job. get over it. he had more than one chance and he couldn't do it. and no it is not some conspiracy why he is on the bench. Apparently you have not been following the conversation. Taggart admits he was not the best choice to play last year.

Sipher Posted October 17, 2014 Group: Member Topic Count: 2 Content Count: 822 Reputation: 77 Days Won: 0 Joined: 03/13/2012 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Wait... I thought Mike White looked much better than Bench last year. Is it just me that thinks this? I have never been impressed by Bench's QB play. Now, where does it say that CWT thinks that THIS year Bench is the better QB? All I see are "hunches" that he thinks Bench is better but is not playing him because of a make believe feud (maybe it's real, but I've never heard any credible sources say this). Especially given Mike White's play lately. It's been rather good, granted I'm not saying he is great or anything. But, I think he is more than serviceable for the offense as of right now. I really want to see the receivers start stepping it up on the offensive side. And of course I want to see some FIRE in some of the players eyes! Get pumped boys. Yeah, because football is a fluid sport and most QBs get as much time as they want to throw and WRs always catch all passes. Oh, wait, most all QBs have to deal with pressure and imperfect receivers. So, you think Bench is better than White!? Apparently, so do the coaching staff, and yet Tags refuses to put him in the games. Why? How do we know this? The coaching staff (except CWT) thinks Bench is better than White!? Pretty sure even Taggs thinks Bench is better, but is holding a grudge for something. link?
