Very cool, more so by the 95,000 than the song itself.

I've been to MCG for an Aussie Rules match (Pies v. Roos) and it is one of the premier sporting venues on the planet

As for Bon Jovi, I'm in favor. Beats the hell out of Sweet Caroline.

We absolutely can't have Bon Jovi. Don't y'all remember getting shut out on national TV at Rutgers on a Thursday night in 2009? I think it was 40 something to 0, and the game was such a blowout that the TV crew was featuring a fat kid in the stands who was famous for his Bon Jovi lip synch routine. Kid was on the jumbotron. Crowd was singing living on a prayer with him. As far as I'm concerned, we need to let Rutgers keep that one.

I wanted to kick Lil' Jovi in the face. I agree.

As long as it's not a stadium staple of those assclowns, should be fine ...

On the other hand, it would show we are over them.

We need to let the bad go, let the good flow

Agreed.

Rutgers is the past, never gonna play them again so I don't really care

It's also famous as a cricket venue...a cricket match at the MCG is on my bucket list. Now if only the world cup wasn't during tax season next year...

Could we go with an artist from Florida instead of Jersey?
