Meant this to be more of a "hey at least we don't have a head coach who sends a player with a concussion into the game and at least we don't have a congressman calling for an investigation as well as huge rally's to fire Harlan" so yeah it was a "it could be worse" post but agreed SMU would've been the better choice. I had just read about the whole concussion thing at Michigan and it just seemed like nothing's goin right up there for them. Probably just should have worded the thread title a tad different ... Still trying to get clarification ... considering whose criteria it may be, I'm thinking we may be talking about trying to turn it around since 1997. If you think Big Blue Nation is grumbling more than we are, you're not close. That's mainly due to expectations. They didn't expect to be 2-3 heading into the tougher part of their schedule, seeing a lot (for them) of empty seats and dealing with the "Fire Hoke" issues (both for losing, and for possibly poorly handling the injured QB issue). yes, we'd love to "barely" get 90K fans to games and to have the donation base. But they have issues of a different sort. So what you're saying is, their problems are CFB "first world" problems, whereas ours are more "third world." Right? uh, yup
