Maryland is a better team than Wisconsin and we should have won that game...

Whaaaaaaa??
Hahaha. I want to hear his take on Mike White.
Nothing wrong with a little homerism.
Indeed.

Do not confuse acute homerism with objective analysis. Remember, as a fan, you're exempt from the constraints of reality and are afforded the luxury of green-n-gold goggles as a permanent fashion accessory.

How is saying we should have won the MD game is homerism? Take away two of the botched special teams plays and we would have won.

Maryland is a better team than Wisconsin mumbo jumbo.

That's not even homerism. It's just silly.

Why do you think that?  Maryland's only loss is to one of the best teams in the Big 12 by 3 points.  We'll find out who's better in a month or so when they play.

Why do I think Wisconsin is better than Maryland? Because Maryland could have easily lost to us.

Maryland is a much better team than us. Wisconsin is better than Maryland. You can point to a couple of plays that could have gone our way in the Maryland as to why we didn't win a close one. Maryland can point to 6 turnovers as to why they didn't win by 30.

Sigh. Your point here is almost as offbase as DC's about Wisky < Maryland.

Those weren't unforced turnovers. We held guys like Diggs down. The D came to play that day. I don't know that Maryland is "much better" than us, quite yet.

Maybe much better is an overstatement, but if we play that game 10 times we probably lose 9 of them and most by more than a 7 point margin. Forcing 6 turnovers with 1 returned for a touchdown and being +5 in turnover margin and still losing the game at home pretty much says we have a long way to go toward being respectable. Sure they were "forced" turnovers, but still not something that can be counted on to keep us in games going forward. After the 5 turnovers that weren't returned for TDs we scored a grand total of 0 points. Maryland turned it over several times when they were driving in position to get points. I don't know what in the second half showed that if we don't have a punt blocked for a touchdown maybe we win the game. We still had no way to move the ball or score.

West Virginia is one of the best teams in the Big 12?  They may not even be a Top 5 team in the Big 12 at this juncture.  I think Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Kansas State, and TCU would have something to say about your claim.

IMO its Oklahoma, Baylor and everybody else.....WV is a  2nd or 3rd tier team in that conference.

One of the good qualities about the Bulls I've seen Wisconsin people mention is your positive turnover margin. Go to the end of this as most of it is a recap of the last game.

Wisconsin does have some shortage of depth at running back. Both true freshmen, who were expected to play, have been injured.

Just placed $1000 (to win $900) on the 51 over.  I think Wiscy wants to run up the score, and I think we score 14-17, perhaps much of it late.

Perfect world, USF 28- Wiscy 24

Dare to dream.  But this way I can bet on Bulls without picking them to lose.

I must have a guardian angel.  In setting the bet, sportsbook.ag had some issue with my credit card and did not accept my deposit.  No bet.

This should be a lesson for me to avoid betting...especially anything on USF.
