If white plays like that we can win some games. The int was more on the receiver. Can a receiver bat the ball down if he can't make a catch or is that against the rules?

they can bat it down.

in any event how could you tell from our normal receiving efforts.

Interceptions like that suck for QB stats it was thrown low but in a place only USF could get it.

Not sure if serious... Of course receivers can bat balls down to prevent interceptions.

 

As long as they don't bat them forward!
