Not sleeping well tonight.  Sent an email to Jim Harris.  Email came back saying Jim is no longer employed by USF and was told to contact John Bowers.  Holy crap. WTF is going on over there?

Cousin, donor numbers plummeted the last few seasons. If the folks in place didn't feel the need to do something different to get those numbers back up, then I think Harlan had the tough choice of replacing. I'll certainly miss seeing Soncrant at USF, but I'm sure he'll land on his feet elsewhere and make an impact. I never really dealt with Harris much.

If this is true - then more communication needs to happen. When Eric left, Jim said I would be his go to contact person and he emailed me about my issue just this past Sunday. It is difficult when multiple people have you going every which way. I know the donor pool is down but it isn't fair to those donors who have stuck around to not have clear communication. I don't need to know the inner workings or behind the scenes stuff - I just want someone to communicate with me as to who I am supposed to talk to.......Soon everyone will be new which means nobody will know any of us. Relationships have always been a key part for me and that part is no DEEPLY lacking!

Yet at the same time J Fernandez, coach of 15 years at USF, says morale and focus is the highest he has ever seen. 

 

Maybe that is true internally, but to CR's point, I hope they don't forget about us fans. Particularly the important ones.

Exactly! I probably talked with my Bulls Club reps over the last 15 years on a monthly basis at least....My goal is to help any way I can and when they "know" you it goes along way to having my support financially or ortherwise.
