I said the other day that this game was one of the most important in USF's history and most of you guys thought I was nuts, and now that the game is over I feel like that's exactly what it was.

 

The 1st true star of the Willie Taggart era emerged.  Regardless of whether the rest of the team looked like garbage, and if our QB played the worst game in D-1 football, we can now officially say that we have a STUD Running Back.  That's a good start.  It's not nearly on the same level since Georgia played Clemson but look at what a true prime time running back can do for a team.   It allows the QB to become a game manager and it completely wears down your opponents defense.   That game was only 24-21 heading into the 4th quarter.   Then in the 4th Gurley had 2 long TD runs and his backup Chubb also had a long one.  

 

This may sound corny but I hope some of the freshman and sophomores on this team get some inspiration from Mack's performance and realize that they can make a massive impact on the team immediately.

Pretty strange in that MM's highlight film was also 5:41 seconds long, both were published on august 31. Maybe he owes you the apology.

Like Superhippy mentioned, we finally have an identity, coming into this game we were hoping that White would carry us...Now teams will have to game plan against Mack attack, all White has to do is manage the game.....teams are going to load up 8 in the box

 

I can't wait to watch Mack this weekend...
