He literally said at the beginning of the day that he was in FSU mode (and I believe he may have mentioned it was at his bosses' request). Being that we have another gentleman that helps cover the Bulls, I immediately made the decision to skip Joey Knight's Twitter feed for the day and keep up with Jeff Odom.

 

Not that hard.

Mostly agree, but: 1. Willy T is right, it that demand will force supply. 2. The area is full of UF & FSU fans/alum, and they are passionate.  Our fan base isn't as rabid.  We need to get there,

What is there to cover? It's not like USF won a national championship in 2014 or something...

Joey did nothing wrong.

So...only if we were to win a NC would we deserve coverage? Or are you just using hyperbole for no reason?

Is it really too much to ask a hometown newspaper to adequately cover the hometown university? I think the coverage is ok, but for those who don't I understand where they're coming from.

 

 

 

Misinterpretation...

 

If USF won a NC, then I would hope that the Tallahassee news blogger would take a day to cover everything USF.

It had more to do with an annual media day than a National Championship, but yes, we'd all like to hope and think that the Tallahassee news blogger would take a day to cover everything USF.

Regardless, I don't like it. The handle is TBTimesBulls...shouldn't be any Noles on that Twitter feed, NC or no.

And that might be the only mistake some of us saw. Besides the lack of coverage this year, we are holding him up to Greg's standards so together its comes across worse to some than it may have in another situation. Anyway, hopefully its the last time it will happen.

And that might be the only mistake some of us saw. 

 

 

Which is fine .... but if that's all was seen, comments like "Now, on "our" blog, there's coverage about fsu", et al were misleading and shouldn't have been made and a retraction should have been forthcoming.... and, for the record, that's not being directed at you.
