Better than a cupcake, which makes us dangerous, but not good enough to be in the club. for now Half joking when I say this but if we lose to McNeese aren't we worse than a cupcake? Recruiting classes aside, I guess we have to actually show something first.

Let's give him a chance. Of course, he'll be negotiating is a much reduced position of strength.

We had games last year people wouldn't/couldn't even watch on ESPN3. Edited May 15, 2014 by JTrue

Just great. http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/post/_/id/95173/saban-is-onto-something-with-scheduling Will we eventually be playing a totally separate national championship for the 6 conferences that are not in the Big 5? And if so, won't it just be a Top 20 of MWC, AAC, and some MAC teams with the rankings looking something like this by 2017: 1) Cincy 2) BYU 3) Boise State 4) USF 5) UCF 6) UConn 7) Houston 8) SMU 8) Northern Illinois 9) Fresno State 10) Utah State 11) Marshall etc

I mean in a world where 128 FBS programs are split 3 ways instead of 2, the upper tier will have the likes of Michigan, USC, etc. Even good but not elite programs like Iowa State, Illinois, Wake, etc might see a demotion to 2, along with us. Voluntary or not.

Plus, the money is too big. You can't drop Clemson if they have a bad year and promote ECU because they have a great year. The money is just too big for those schools, they would never allow it. I think we are screwed.

I think we are screwed. It would be awesome. Agreed that it'll never happen but it would be a hell of a lot of fun and create an even playing field. Think TV packages allocated by division not conference.
