Better be a big time hire otherwise this will be a huge mistake

I don't know, 5 bad seasons in 7 years isn't very good.

I was thrilled with USF's tourney run a few years ago, but some of the losses this year were pathetic. Reminded me of Holtz in his last two seasons. The team just found a way to lose too many winnable games.

Maybe a fresh start is what the program needs.

My vote is for Bruce Pearl.

I think it's safe to say most people would love Bruce here. The question is does Bruce want to come here. I remember reading somewhere before he took the Tennessee job that he wanted to go to a program that had already won a national championship in Baseball or football. He wanted to go somewhere that was all in on basketball with a specific vision.

We need a guy who can coach basketball. Big name isn't important. Find a guy that can actually coach up the team and run an offense that is above the 5th grade level. Look at VCU, Butler, etc. They aren't good just about every year because of the talent they get. They have coaches who know how to coach.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
