White is the best option for the rest of the season. He needs all of the reps possible so that he will be ready next year. All I am saying is that cwt needs to simplify the offensive plays for the remaining game,so white will succeed.

A few things for everyone to remember

#1 Mike is a freshman starting his second game.

#2. The supporting cast around him, specially up front needs big time help

#3. The Memphis defense is good. They held the UCF QB to 47% completions and 160 yds with ZERO TDs in 36 attempts. White stats were 54% completions for 198 yds and 1 TD. He had 4 INTs and that's the freshmen trying to do too much.

So give the kid time. He is the best we have and will get better with better supporting cast and experience.

 

Sounds like we have possible contenders on the Memphis staff for our next DC.  Their defense is certainly better than ours.

If any defenses play zone against us I think white can pick them apart if the line gives him time.

Given that our receivers can't consistently beat man coverage white will have a hard time against that.

This is a huge part of our problem.  We had single man on the outside numerous times but we just can't take advantage of it due to our WR's.
