He took USF to a bowl game his first year as well.

They are playing the weakest schedule in LA Tech History, the fans are not impressed with the wins he has gotten.

From their site

"Holtz must get a free round of golf for each timeout he keeps in his pocket. He has to lead the country in timeouts not used. Holtz didn't use a single timeout in the first half against Rice. Holtz's timeout management has been horrible all season, especially in the Kansas and Army games before halftime. We went into halftime both games having to kick field goals with timeouts left in Holtz's pocket when we would have had a shot at a touchdown in both of those games if had he used his timeouts."

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose!

Holtz just got done losing to that university in Texas that's named after a side dish. :D

If you were never there for the "Eagle in Yune" eye-gouging competition, then you wouldn't be plugged into the vitriol for Southern Piss. Of the four times we played them, we won ONCE. And when was that one win? That was a home game in '02. Saturday night. The night I just happened to be in the hospital and as such suffered the only home game I've ever missed since day one! So I keep a pinch of loathing set aside for Southern Miss.

I agree about xCSH. Rear view mirror material, at best.

I can think of a lot of miserable SOBs that I have dealt with in my life.  Eagle in Yune would have to be near the top.

UT-SA isn't a pushover, not sure I see them going bowling this year. And he's doing it with Sonny Dykes' players, so the next 2 years will see if he can win or not. AND he's getting help, since ECU, Tulane (who was actually decent this year), and Tulsa are bolting for our conference, and he's getting WKU, ODU, and Charlotte (in 2015) to deal with, and other than WKU (pending if Bobby Petrino is still hanging around), they basically are competing with Marshall, North Texas (go McCarney and Canales!!!), and Rice for top spots.

Skip's current team would more than likely beat USF

No way. He just got done losing to UT-SA. Holtz will just horde all time outs and out-conservative himself out of a victory against USF. :D
