And it seemed more penalties called when we actually had a chance in the 4th.

It's one thing to make a bad call, but for the same officiating crew to call it one way and then two plays later not call it is unacceptable.

If there really was a conspiracy, wouldn't they have called it on Houston to make it look like they didn't have a bias? That was an easy makeup call that refs usually give.

It wasn't the same crew.  Only official in common was the referee and he didn't throw the flag on the pass interference call, that was another official.

That one ref certainly could have a vendetta against USF. UCF grad?

I still look at the betting lines in Vegas, more than anything.   85 - 90 percent of the money was on Houston -20, while around 75 percent was on the Bulls (+700) to win straight up.  With the Bulls losing by 12 it fits right in the middle and Vegas takes home a giant payday.  I hate to be this guy, but this situation happens a whole lot more often then people realize.   The Davis call was very weak but the fact that they did'nt call the same exact thing a couple plays later is complete garbage.  The false starts were more a product of having a new QB, but the not waiting 1 second rule is NEVER called and was called twice.  I have a feeling this team is going to come out pissed off and smash Memphis, the likes of which we hav'nt seen the Bulls beat a team in a long time.

Worse was that he threw the flag, then pocketed it.  Even Houston fans were stunned.  If you're gonna rig a fight, at least make it look like the punches land.

Worse, it wasn't the exact same foul.  Davis & the DB were hand checking.  The Houston WR used his hand in our DBs back to push him away.  Flagrant.

If I didn't care about either team, I'd say the Davis TD stands, and the Houston OPI stands.

While I can buy the theory, I can't get over that if we also would have tackled well, we would have won.

Yep.

This link posted a couple weeks ago by MikeG talks about how undesirable USF would be as a BCS participant, and that if they were to beat Louisville that it would make some of the BCS folks very nervous

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
