He may have committed to Marshal, but he still had good things to say about USF (makes me wonder if grades were an issue here). I'm sure many other prospects took notice of the spark we saw last night as well.

And then of course you have Mike White out there recruiting lol

@VMJacksonJr: Coach Tom Allen from Ole Miss in to visit me today #HottyToddy

@MW_514: @VMJacksonJr enough of that #GoBulls

That's awesome.  Leadership, and a strong desire to surround himself with the best talent, and DO SOMETHING.

I don't think it will have much affect on Flowers.  While White looked vastly better than what we've been trotting out there, he isn't Johnny Manziel.  I don't think possible QB recruits will be scared off.  Especially considering that he's playing as true freshman, so even if they do get beat out, they could still redshirt and be two classes behind him (meaning good chance to start as a junior).

they would only be one injury away from being a starter.

Bingo. We've already had Eveld and Bench go down to injuries this year.

Does this make Bench our Wally Pipp?

I think Pipp was out of the lineup strictly due to an injury ...

One way or another it's certainly caused Ryeshene Bronson's tongue to start wagging. He's claiming he's going to catch 1500+ yards in a season for USF and that he's going to be as good as Andre Davis is, except as a freshman.

I hope he's not afraid to hit somebody.

You don't think Eveld & Bench being hurt didn't plunge White into the starting role?

Wonder if Yearby and Cook watched this game, and see a place for them on this squad.
