The Good - Saw signs of life from the offense

The Bad - Defense not fast enough, scoring drives for Houston were fast

The Ugly - Penalties, some strange calls but too many legit and unquestionable anyway

Our DBs looked sllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww compared to their WRs.  Those quick slants for about 10 yards + YAC consistently and routinely burned our guys.  The middle of the field, once again, is our worst area of coverage.  We have to figure something out, also because our DBs don't seem to be too aggressive in moving up and trying to make a tackle.

The Good:  For once, the QB looked like a QB and the ball was moving on offense.

The Bad:  Slow DB's and Dropped passes in the first half.  I saw several near-perfect throws land in the hands of a WR only to be dropped (if for no other reason than they were shocked someone actually delivered a ball to their hands)

The Ugly:  PenaltiesPentaltiesPenalties all day long.  19/170 (or some such outrageous number).  It took too much away from the offense and gave too much to Houston.  (That last Offensive PA call was questionable, then to have Houston do the same thing a few plays later and not get called for it just sucks)

Overall, the offense is stepping up.   The coaches just need to work on making sure we are all set when we need to be and that we don't have these shifting issues.  Good game otherwise.  2-2 in Conference.  We may not get the title or the BCS bowl, but we can sure as h*ll make sure UCF doesn't win it either if we fix some of these issues soon.  Long time to the next game day.  We might just have some good games the rest of the year.  :)

Good: White and pass blocking most of the game

Bad; not much I can think here. Dropped passes maybe make it above ugly?

Ugly: Penalties, shooting ourselves in the foot all night. The refs. The defensive backfield. This secondary is the weakness of the D that has a pretty strong front 7

Good: Obviously Mike White

Bad: The refs

Ugly: The refs wives.

The Good: QB White, and the confidence the rest of the offense has in him.

The Bad: Our defense is atrocious. Can't tackle, can't recognize a screen pass, can't cover receivers.

The Ugly: Penalties. The legit ones, and the BS calls.

The Good:  QB play and leadership.  Now we know what the offense is supposed to look like.  Great job.  2 TD passes (if you included the one they took away).   Kloss is money.

The Bad:  Somebody tackle somebody

The Ugly:  Penalties and bad calls.

tackling overall was bad, not wrapping up, when they did wrap up they would be pushed back 2-3 yards on impact.

In a different thread we talked about WR dropping the shoulder and hitting the tackler.  This is what UH did to us last night and I would bet earned 30+ more yards as a result

The Good:  White, The receivers, Defense for the most part minus the poor tackling at times.

The bad, the poor tackling, the YAC(yards after catch) by Houston were crazy.

The Ugly:  The PENALTIES, a few coaching decisions(on side kick) The Refs.

Good - White

Bad  - Lack of tackling. Bad angles to the ball. Not mean enough.

Ugly - See the bad/\. Obvious biased officiating.
