Reminds me of threads in 2005 about how it would be better for usf to lose to UL so the conference gained respect or some such nonsense. What's always best for the Bulls is to win.

Or in 2006 when McMurphy wrote about how much USF cost the league with the road win at WVU that took them out of an at large BCS game.

it wasn't for an at large birth-- it was for the Big East BCS slot.

which reminds that Kirk Herbstreit has been struggling all year long when talking about any AAC team as getting an at large BCS slot when we still have a regular spot at the table (most notably when talking about UCF or UFC -- something he also struggles with)-- freaking twit.

this entire thread is bizarre-- every time our team goes on the field, I want them to try as hard as they can to beat the other team- period.

How about we beat Louisville, beat UCF, as well as beating all the other AAC losers on our schedule and go to the BCS game ourselves :GoBulls:

Not all people who dream achieve those dreams, however those who do not dream never reach those dreams.

If that happens, mark my words TBP, I will start the fund for building a statue of CWT on campus with an inscription about how he turned the team around.

Win 'em all, let the voters sort 'em out.

Let it be so known. I'd pitch in for that for sure.

Well, then....I guess we decided to "lose" to Louisville in an attempt at shoring up post season play more to our liking.

We're so incredibly noble...always taking the high ground...'cause it's all about the giving, not the receiving.

Most assuredly...not about the receiving.

Thirty Four to three...not so much a loss as it is a waxing.

Was the waxing before or after the receiving?
