How many new starters are out there for UL that we haven't seen? Isn't this pretty much the same team that we lost to in the final seconds of the game last year?

Just because ESPN has elevated them to "God Status" does not mean they won't come out and lose games like they did last year. Didn't Syracuse blow them out by like 30 points? With the almighty Teddy at the helm?

And there's a nice vid of Mike White breaking off on a run and threading a needle during some 7v7 and practice scrimmages on his Instagram at Michael_White_ . The kid has talent, Taggart is just saving him for next year.

Sometimes you'll see a freshman play a bit early, then get "injured" and take the redshirt when it's obvious he's not going to play much. I think BJ did that.

I would be ok with burning the redshirt if he gave us the best chance to win. I'm assuming Taggart feels he doesn't, since he hasn't played him thus far, and I also recognize that he could get beat up both physically and mentally by going in before he is ready. I think many here also fail to see that our problems on offense run far, far deeper than the qb position.

Me, too. I'd play him if he was our best chance to win, and I think CWT would too. He isn't playing because he isn't our best chance at winning.

smazza, let me try to explain this to you one more time.  The winner of the AAC has an automatic bid to a BCS game therefore, if USF somehow wins the AAC, they WILL go to a BCS game.

Would we even want such a thing to happen? We'd be killed.
