I have my season tickets pretty close to the entry way for the team. I enjoy standing next to watch the team come out onto the field. 

 

So today before the game and our pre-game show, I'm standing there watch various USF officials walk by. As it so happens, Dr. Genshaft walked out of the tunnel at that time. 

 

Now, I was in student government a few years ago, and we got to see Dr. Genshaft a little more often than the general USF populace. Keeping in that mind, it's been 2-3 years since I'd had any substantial contact with her. 

 

She recognized me. Unreal. A random student from 2-3 years ago and she remembers me? 

 

In a rather good mood about our university president tonight :). Gotta love Judy.

she is a pretty upbeat lady

 

I remember hanging out with her way back in 2001 at the Pitt game -- used to run in to her all the time after that and she does have a knack for remembering people no doubt.

She's passionate about the school & our sports teams.
