95 Wins and 57 losses.

8 wins and 8 losses in Conf USA.

25 Wins and 26 losses in the Big East.

Winning 62.5% of our games and going .500 in conf play sounds much better now than it did when Leavitt was here. But If we look closer at just Cinci, Rutgers, and Pitt games his record is something like 5 and 14 with no wins after 2007. He had no answer to those three schools. They just whooped him.

After 2007, we all expected him to succeed in a way that Brian Kelly did and he didn't. Looking back the expectations seemed unfair.

History will forget that Leavitt was owned by Kelly and Schiano and just remember that he won 62.5% of the time.

I hope history looks at what he and others accomplished in putting together a program that earned brutal, but high, expectations in less than a decade.  We were relevant rather quickly.

It was a fun ride.

But for him winning 62.5% of the time there would have been zero expectations.

But for him going 9-4 in 2006 and 2007 with kids recruited at the 1AA and cusa level but beating name teams there would have been no expectations.

Well put Ray Rice on the Bulls team and I wonder how Rutgirls would have done.

There wasn't a lick of truth anywhere in your post as it relates to the actual situation... Spew corporate law/HR rhetoric all you want. Leavitt stood up for himself when his employer turned their back on him.

You know this how? You have a close, personal relationship With Genshaft? Or are you an attorney.

The irrefutable fact is that Leavitt puts his hands on the player in a threatening way. Another fact is that this is announcer written USF policy. Ridiculous, maybe. But he violated law and policy. In that situation, you agree to minor punishment and apologize or you are gone. No way he could win with video of him during games grabbing and lifting players the same way as alleged. He need to be humble to keep his job and he chose arrogant. Talk to any employment law attorney.

State trooper witnessed the event and did not seem to think so.

LOL.  State trooper would have been fired if he said he witnessed an assault and did not at least intervene.  The only answer he could give was that he saw nothing.

LOL.  Question the integrity of the officer, but not the fired reporter or the manipulated angry kid that changed his story a number of times.

I never said those shouldn't be questioned.  I merely stated that the officer could not state that he saw something, because if he had he should have taken action at the time.

Please don't add words that I haven't spoken.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
