I really think they stopped trying....The errors to me are terrible more than anything because espn is the "world wide leader" and has unlimited resources....they list Sean Price as a "Newcomer to Watch" and Aaron Lynch as a Senior. I am probably being petty but I understand how the other conferences felt now that the AAC is going to be "on the outside looking in"...I listen to a couple college football podcasts and their season previews consisted of SEC, B1G, Pac12, ACC,Big 12 talk and Notre Dame... Nothing else. ESPNU's college football podcast went over the ESPN Power Rankings and didnt even talk Louisville but did talk of every team that was in a "Power 5" conference that was in their "power rankings"....

ESPN is losing more and more ground to FoxSports each and every day.  

 

It will be very interesting to see what happens in the next few years as FoxSports launches their 24 hour sports channel Fox Sports 1 tomorrow.

Cant wait,  I haven't turned on ESPin  or ABC since the AAC began as a conference  July 1st.   I refuse to watch the Mouse and its affiliates.  Even called my cable provider to let them know I don't want them and hope that we get a Tier option so we can pay for what we want only.

Also  wouldn't our biggest game of the season be against TOP 10 ranked Ville which is a conference game, Not against 2 teams out of conference that are not in the Top 25?

jeez you guys are are haters. I highly doubt ESPN bloggers made those errors on purpose and can guarantee you it happens to the other conferences as well. It is shoddy work? Yes, but again it happens to others.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm part of the " ESPN conspiracy theory" in which they are trying to undermine non P5, but not the the extent of the blog.

ESPN is a necessary evil until a channel comes along to unseat them.  Hopefully Fox Sports 1 will be that channel.

I haven't watched ESPN at all unless a USF away game I couldn't make is televised on their family of networks. 

 

I hope not just one but several channels come to unseat ESPN.

 

It is an abusive pseudo-monopoly they have on college football, and I hope in 2-3 decades nobody remembers their existence.
