That analysis is deserved and could also be  beneficial for us. Hopefully it motivates us to step up. I am with Danm on this, it could pose to be a trap game if our boys can get to it in fall camp. I am really hopping Bench or Matt get it figured out by then.

Why just because he can catch? lol Thought Matt had the better field awareness but lets be honest we are probably both hoping for bench.

I think there will be a lot of suprises to the depth chart honestly.  ESP on offense.  Can't wait to see it all unfold.

Last I had heard was that Eveld was penciled in as the front runner per my credible source. Just leave it at that. Hopefully he's ready to go by week two. Ain't no BSing in that environment.

Considering Bench hasn't had 1 practice yet, I'd agree. After fall camp? I see Bench starting.

Not saying that it couldn't happen... just saying coming into Fall practice, Eveld is slated as the #1. Everybody else is fighting for #2 unless someone wow's the staff.

His style of West Coast offense is difficult to scout due to all of the wrinkles and the fact that it uses so many audibles and transitions...that is one of the major perks to this style of offense. Other teams will be able to prepare for the philosophy and know that they will see short quick passes, lots of motion, and downhill running...other than that it is hard to gameplan for.

This is true, but I don't believe it will be that developed by game 2. You'll see a lot of draw plays.

I don't think that's too far fetched to have Bench, with zero practices for USF under his belt, to be coming it at #2.
