His only weak spot was recruting a QB. He had a couple of solid/good recruting classes. As of right now*, Taggarts class isn't mind blowing or anything. But, back on topic...this guy is a game changer. I would say that is a huge weakness. Holtz must be a terrible Chess player. He never thought past his next move. Agreed, if we can get Dyer, its a game changer. It takes the pressure off of the starting qb and gives our offense much needed options.

To me, this means it's all being kept very quiet @ USF. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/report-ex-auburn-rb-dyer-visits-usf/2131525

Cam played 4 years, and won a JuCo championship and the Auburn championship. He played 2 years at UF, but left the team before the Gators won their championship. I call that one-and-a-half (Auburn and Blinn).
Publix Substitution Posted July 16, 2013 Group: Member Topic Count: 3 Content Count: 109 Reputation: 27 Days Won: 0 Joined: 07/02/2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Based on talent alone, this guy is a first round pick in the NFL. The addition of Dyer would immediately change the discussion from can we qualify for a bowl game/beat UCF to can we beat Louisville/win the conference. I think most of us would trust Taggart's judgement. If he does join, this would be a huge for our program. Either way, I'm glad that we have a first year coach who would even consider making a controversial decision like this in order to get back to winning games. If one is fine to take a chance on, why not the other?

He may have still gotten a ring, but he didn't play in the game, as far as I can tell.
