I am sure he will get a shot at QB here at USF.

 

Coach T wants playmakers and people who are willing to step up and vocalize. If Porter wants to play QB here, all he needs to do is speak up and show that he can.

 

He may get a shot at QB but we're going to need him at CB.

You crazy? this kid may be, with Flowers, the best athletes in the class and maybe our best recruits ever. Why would you waste a redshirt on a player that's gonna play a limited number of months b4 the NFL comes calling?

Not sure where you got that I said anything about red-shirting.  All I said was we don't know where he'll be needed the most.

when you said "not sure if we'll need him at DB YET". I took it to mean we might park him behind other db'S, SORRY IF YOU WErE REFERRING TO OTHER POSITIONS, BUT i THINK HE REALLY WANTS TO BE A db..  I took "yet" to mean time frame on playing you were obviously referring to when position placement would be made.

If he's one of the best ever, he's also get Under the Radar award, for being a 2 star.  Would love to see him come here & give this offense a spark.

 

He may be a good DB, but I have to say...I see so many college teams with good size corners, and most of ours are sticks.
