Wondering how the f*** Loserville gets to host a regional when we: finished as a 2 seed based off the regular season, beat them, and won the Big East tournament.

Just looked at the bracket and wanted to point somethings out.

 

Notre Dame (0-2)

L 4-3 vs Virginia Tech

L 3-1 vs Marshall

 

Louisville (1-2)

W 2-1 vs IPFW

L 7-4 vs UAB

L 19-2 vs UCLA

 

USF (2-2)

W 1-0 vs Georgia Southern

L 11-1 vs Florida

W 2-1 vs Georgia Southern

L 2-0 vs Florida

 

3 seeded teams did not make it to Super Regionals. #9 LSU (LA-Lafayette won), #13 South Alabama (lost to FSU in if necessary game), #15 Louisville (UAB won regional, UL didn't make it to championship day).

 

Really makes me wonder if we should have been hosting instead of Louisville. Then again, we proved we have no real offensive threats, just really really good pitching that makes up for it.
