Well, it looks like Duke just destroyed his ankle.

Golden wouldn't comment, but ESPN sources say a broken ankle and out for the season.

It was pretty obvious from reply he would be out for the season.

Duke is considered the top back in the nation as far as I know. I think he'll come out especially with Morris graduating this year

Duke is a true soph. Can he even leave for the NFL?

After his junior year.  3 years of eligibility is required.  Lynch is in that boat, FWIW.  Manziel, too.

Lynch and Manziel are RS sophomores.

Duke's a true sophomore. Not eligible yet.

Ah I thought he was a junior. Lynch and Manziel are eligible to come out this year because they are redshirt sophomores.

I wasn't clear...I was stating that Lynch & Manziel finish their 3rd year this year, and will be 2014 eligible.  Duke's earliest is 2015.  Hope Duke is OK...seems like a good character guy.

Andre Fernandez â€@AndreMHsports 14m

Joe Yearby likely out for the season with a broken ankle. Went to get it checked out at nearby hospital.

Don't think he was gonna come anyway, but we have a serious RB prospect curse on us. Let's really hope D'Ernest Johnson doesn't make the jump to the Redbirds.

Id still take him in a heartbeat. He will recover and be just as great. Let him recover for a year and he's good to go as a RS Freshman in 2015.

Agree.  Wonder if Duke stays another year after 2014, and if that influences Yearby's decision.

I'd love to get Cook...UF fired OC Pease today, so we've got our best chance now.  Clearly, a stud RB could start on day 1 here.

Yep, Braves P Tim Hudson had one of the worst ankle breaks i've ever seen and SFG just signed him to a $23MM deal starting in the spring. Actually an ankle fracture is usually much less serious than a high ankle sprain

Well yeah, but Hudson doesn't have 300 lb DLs and 220 lb LBs trying to slam him into the ground every pitch.

That's what I'm thinking Shadow. If Yearby wants to be a Bull because UM is scared of the injury, then we should back off too. ****** moron.
