Left game at half.  Got home in time to see the LeDay show

So did we..Just looked like we were second class. like we were playing sand lot..no sand lot looks better...IMO  running but no plays set up, not being able to get free and too many turn overs..  etc..

Go Bulls

Demetrius Henry at game (recently announced USF in Top for MBB) - hopefully team/crowd can impress him

Oh ..... ****.

Was that his little brother who brought in the game ball?

Only if they were Marquette fans .... I just thought they said the little guy's last name was Henry.

Last night's MBB offensive performance made me nostalgic for last year's football offense.  Just awful.

Can anyone remember one time this season when a guy came around a pick, received a pass and got off a clean look?  Marquette did that time and time again.  I can't remember us doing it even once - all year.  Guys don't seem to know how to use picks.  Picks and cuts are lazy.  It is like they run them but not with conviction.

And when was the last time someone, even AC, made a pass to a guy that sets the pick and then rolls toward the basket?  On occasion you will see the guy open and no one ever makes the pass.  Maybe AC is too small to see through the waists of the guys that jump the screen.

Just a horrid offensive performance night in and night out.  Open the game with a shot clock violation.  Really?  We left after the 12:00 minute time out in 2nd half so didn't get home in time to see Leday's couple of buckets.

In your whole post, lazy may be the most telling word.

Our guys looked lazy out there. No speed, no movement, no fire in the bellies.

This killing the clock scheme that worked last year is just not happening this year.  Guys are passing on open looks until the clock is under 10 seconds.  The panic shooting as the clock runs out is simply not working this year.  Opponents have been able to prepare for it and we are not adjusting.
