Looks like we are signing a one and one with Old Dominion. Sorry don't have the link- it's on Greg's blog.

Head scratcher there. Our neighbors to the northeast get Texas, South Carolina, Ohio State, Ect on their schedule and we get....Old Dominion.

Every game can't be against a big time opponent.  And you don't want every game against a big time opponent.

 

I'm kind of looking forward to it.  We used to play Old Dominion all the time, back in the day.

I don't mind ODU, but after next couple of years our run of big time OOC games is ending.

By the way, actually, the way the new BCS format is set up, it encourages a tougher schedule so the more big time opponents you play the better.

That's ridiculous. We're scheduling a 1-1 with a school moving up? after this season the only BCS OOC we have is Michigan State, Indiana, visit from NC state and an away at UF. And our conference just added tulane and Memphis. And we're still scheduling a 1AA every year. It's weak.

What power do we have? A one and one is about right. You guys need to take a look at the conference we are playing in and the teams who are in it. The times are changing and we are on the outside looking in.

Our neighbors to the east are signing a 1-1 with penn state for the next 2 years. Clearing off their 1AA games to make space. When did they get into a better conference? When did they get to the inside?

Home and home with ODU? What is Woolard thinking? How about scheduling a BCS school? I don't care if we have to go there every time we play, like UF, but ODU?
