As much as some may not like him for what he did or didn't do he started this program from scratch and will forever be in the history books for this football program. Lewis plead guilty to obstruction. Probation and fine. The two me accused were aquited. I think someone pulled Ray Lewis aside and explained to him - in terms that he understood - that as of now, since you're in the NFL, you're gonna have to leave the old posse behind. I know they 'had your back' all those years, but the screw has officially turned and you are now under the microscope. Gotta put some distance between yourself and the homies. Interesting that you say that because most of my life it has been the other way around. Even in the Montana days (Green Bay was usually bad), it was tough to beat them. Even though I felt the Niners were outplaying them, the Packers were able to make enough plays to keep it in question (at least in my mind) until the Niners went up by 21. Thanks.
