It was great to spend some more face time with Coach T and meet his bride Teneshia and their sons Willie, Jr. and JT. They are some nice folks and seem to be excited about finding a home soon and settling in. No big earthshaking news reveals. Probably the biggest were that we may expect to see some more recruiting decommits that amount to addition by subtraction and that meetings have gone well with a certain QB candidate. Truly wish them all the best.

Very cool that the Coach has been so out and about/accessible. Glad to hear they're trying to get settled in while he's doing 20934028 things! Hope to have all good news by Jan 5th! :)

At Taggart's introductory press conference, my brother in law said Willie Jr. sounds like a nickname for his penis. Now I will never be able to shake that image from my head. That's all I have to contribute to this thread.

We're pretty much waiting on the DC. Not much will happen until then. Seeing as Shannon seems to be the top target, he would easily be the highest paid assistant in USF history (~330K is the mark thanks to Cosh). Tag needs to find out what it will take to get Shannon and see where the budget sits for everyone else.

I really wish Tag would have lobbied harder to a much larger assistant pool considering his personal salary is about $850K below what Skip was making.
