Anyone else watching? It's as generic as they come. He seemed more forceful than passionate. No great moments like Taggart's "Let Coach T drive this bus!". Didn't take long for him to name drop "My dad, Dr. Lou".

"If were not having success, Blitz". Yes, because if your not having success, the first thing you want to do is leave your backfield open on a blitz.

You know because all coaches should be the same. I know Skip didn't work out here, and I wanted him gone as much as the next person , but I hope he kills it at La Tech to offset some of the **** people have given the most minute details of his tenure...

A reporter just asked him if he felt he needed redemption after USF.

Holtz said he was doing a great job, especially bringing our athletes academics from last in the Big East to second. He also cited injuries this year. Overall statement was "I just ran out of time" to improve the team.

Mebbe so, but he never seemed to run out of timeouts...

I agree with him. The problem is that we didnt/dont know how much time it would take.

Best of luck to him. Hopefully coach T doesnt take too large a step back(if at all) in academics and other regards that Skip improved in.

That's why he was holding on to those time outs!! I bet he tried to use one when DW canned him.
