Someday I may be able to share some of the details with y'all, but right now disclosing those details would bring potential harm to innocent people and people that I care about. Let's just say that Dungy was virtually a done deal. I figured if anything went wrong, it would be on Woolard. Didn't turn out that way though. Woolard basically had Dungy ready to sign. If the ink wasn't dry, the pen was at least in Dungy's hands. Then someone else (who shall remain unnamed) from the USF administration got involved.... that's when things went to hell in a hand basket and opened the door for Taggart. Let's just say that Taggart wasn't hired solely because of football reasons.
