Coaching his first bowl practice ever and now bailing right away. My guess is that he will see the players through today and sign tomorrow. At least I hope. My guess is that he will leave very soon. It would just be very douchie to bail at this very important moment. He can't afford to coach too long. He needs to get ready here in december. Then you'd be narrowing your options significantly. It's pretty rare that a coach hired from another program stays through said program's bowl game. It puts you behind the eight ball from day one. So you expect USF to either only consider coaches who are unemployed or currently coaching teams not good enough to make bowl games, or waste a month of recruiting time by hiring a coach who stays to coach a meaningless game for players who no longer are his own?
