Different than what I've heard. But, he is a leader. I really like Demetris and respect him. If it's not the guy in charge, I'd like to hear what it is. Similar to the Leavitt thing, we know those that are not coaches can influence thoughts and beliefs at very high and broad levels. i hope someone in the legit media (well, that's Greg) can get to the bottom of that comment. If he resigns, he is no longer entitled to his buyout, right? I don't remember any college coach ever resigning because of poor performance. Holtz is going to be fired or he's not going anywhere. if he "resigns", I'm thinking he actually was fired, but they just came to an agreement for some kind of settlement, because I'm thinking if he resigns/quits, he actually would owe the university money

Holtz and Woolard will tie the knot after the USF vs. Pittsburg game. See? Making up ridiculous headlines is fun. Well I guess the "scoop" that Holtz would resign after the game was as acurate as my "scoop" that Holtz and Woolard would gay marry each other. Personally, I think the gay marriage would be funnier to watch. Who would wear the dress, Holtz or Woolard? Before you laugh yourself into tears, have you given any consideration to how long it takes to get a marriage license and a facilitator that is comfortable with that kind of activity? Less time than it takes to get a USF TD? hold on.... (in lieu of a smilie that appropriately represents a quality "rim shot")

Sadder than our football program. I guess both are all about taking the money.
