"Win Anyways"

I saw an article in a South Carolina paper today that talked about the University of South Carolina's team motto "Win Anyways". Spurrier said he came up with it because during the course of a season every team has key injuries, suspensions, hard times etc., but he says excuses are for losers and he doesn't allow them into his locker room. He goes on to explain how winning is a mentality that starts from the top down with the coaches and team captains...the whole time I was reading it I couldn't help but wonder: what is our team's motto and what kind of mentality have we been using?

We used to have that mentality of playing with a chip on our shoulder. Now Skip has gone all kumbaya on the program with participation medals.

We were a better program when we were angry at the world. Maybe we will get some of that back now that we've been left out.

Seems to me USF, Cincy, and UCONN should be mad as hell and take it out on both our new conference mates and the Cower 5.
