Did anyone catch Holtz on the radio this morning?

Using injuries as an excuse for the inconsistent play...

Using injuries as an excuse is a bad coach excuse.

Every team in the country has injuries and most don't point to them as excuses.

Too be fair the loss of BJ is a huge loss for USF. It made out offense as bad as our defense.

However, we were 3-6 with BJ as the starter (counting the Connecticut game he was hurt in), so it's not like the injuries made us any worse.

I agree. Losing B.J. was a huge loss. However, poor coaching was the reason behind at least 5 of the 6 losses.

Poor pass defense was the reason for 6 of the 6 losses. Whether that's coaching, talent, or both, I'll let you decide

If he is using injuries as an excuse, than its then his fault for not recruiting depth to overcome those injuries. There is no excuse for taking this program down the gutter as he has. No excuse.

Once again, you think we are Florida or Alabama and we are clearly not.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
