If USF goes on the search this year they will be competing with

  1. Auburn

  2. Arkansas

  3. Kentucky

So, right off the bat, we'd be the 4th choice, assuming that no other openings become available ... We need to wait for a year when there are NO other firings in the works.

There are firings every year.

Unfortunately Holtz has tarnished what had been perceived as a plum job with high growth potential and made it tougher to find a good replacement.

Firing Holtz after 2 1/2 years at a place like USF will make it tougher to find a good replacement.

I don't think so... this team looks really bad that falls onto coaching.

USF still looks like a good program to coach....located in florida, nice facilities, raymond james.... one coach isn't going to destory USF football.

I don't think so... this team looks really bad that falls onto coaching.

Unless we can't get rid of him and he stays around for 5 more years. Then , he will have more than enought time to destroy USF football.

Promote?? well that sounds sort of crazy but at the least give the guy a contract extension we wouldn't want anybody to steal him.
