Defense: 1. Stop the run from jump street. 2. Keep a middle backer spying BJD the entire game. 3. In passing situations, bring the heat and blitz. 4. No need to go to risky manned coverage, #3 will ensure that a zone coverage is sufficient. Offense: 1. Run the ball up the gut to establish the inside. 2. For 3rd and long, have multiple receivers just beyond the yard marker. 3. Prevent holding penalties to ensure drives are kept alive. 4. Change things up occasionally to keep the defense honest and to allow the occasional wide open receiver downfield. Result: 1. Complete and utter annhilation of USF. 2. USF continues to be punching bag of BE 3. USF loses more fan support. Easy, peesy, lemon squeezy! Complete and utter annihilation huh? losing by ten and being 3 points down after tying it up with 6 to go doesn't sound quite like that to me. Our defense was out there for the first 7 MINUTES OF THE THIRD QUARTER AND ONLY GAVE UP 10 POINTS AND ONLY 17 for the rest of the game... not sure how much you want there... could they have blitzed more maybe. Maybe they didn't blitz because their receivers were all over 6'6" and our corners and safeties are scratching 6' maybe... BJ's inability to throw intermediate passes is why we lost in spite of your defense's great play... 10 of those points were gifted to you guys on penalties... We had to fight for our TOs... deflecting passes etc. Lol the first one wasn't even a real interception it clearly hits the ground and the player never has control of it... Second one was a punt return where you had just went three and out and caught our inexperienced returner off guard not sure where fighting for it there is... especially after you had already given up over 20 yards on the return... The lucky bounce off of Landi's chest after BJ rocketed it in there was hard earned as well? Glad to see you're still here to stir things up. WRONG on the third 1... rJr CB Logan Ryan who was in tight coverage on the outside with the TE... DEFLECTED the pass as it made contact with your TE's hands... the pass then hit the TE's knee which then propelled the ball slightly upward to get picked off by backup rSr CB/SS Wayne Warren in the endzone... That pass was either an int or a PD if Warren hadn't caught it... We ripped out the ball on the punt return... that wasn't given to us... and we had to layout for the other two INTs... they weren't exactly thrown at us... The 2 INTs that WERE thrown directly to us were missed by our CB (Cooper) because he jumped too early and went for completions... If it weren't for our miscues all 1st half we would have posted another 20 on you guys... leading to a blowout... You guys could hardly move the ball on offense against us apart from 3 prayers that BJ threw up... Got it... lol point is we gift wrapped the interception in the endzone and the first one wasn't even an interception... you ripped it out because our guy wasn't paying attention and thought he was out of bounds already... the arrant throw that your player caught was hard fought by your standards for sure. BJ had an open receiver over threw him and your player dived and retrieved it... congratz... you chose to ignore the blatant holding penalties that didn't get called the pass interference call that wasn't and the fact that the first interception wasn't an interception... Not saying USF shouldn't have lost this game because even with all of that they were still tied with 6 to go and went belly up on two consecutive offensive drives because BJ can't make a ten yard pass and doesn't know what it means to throw to a hot route on a blitz... Laughed at our defensive line cuz they never touched Nova and his jersey was sparkly clean. Give you a lot of credit for being able to watch that performance twice. Once was enough for me. I deleted it from the DVR when I got home since I don't watch garbage TV. If I had been watching the game, I would have turned it off and done something else. Holtz is killing our young and fragile fan base.

RU won that terrible showing of American football.

Lou's son needs a scapegoat. he has had BJ for 3 years and still doesn't know how to use him. those same guys will praise kansas states QB and even talk heisman as they already have even though his passing and rushing numbers were worse than BJs. that's because Snyder knows how to use him. That's right, you don't want our QB to throw. You do know, that on zone reads, BJ has the option to hand the ball off or run it himself. Too often, he handed it off IMO. WhoTF cares? You guys are bad though... we're worse.

We didn't have many designed runs. 17 (?) I believe per the coach's mouth.
