I think it was weak of ESPN to be so hard on BJ on national TV.

Have to get your shots on the Big East in while they are still on their network.

BE football is a joke. That looked like a high school game. Embarrassed to be a part of it as a USF fan.

Most of you forget the FACT that if the game was played on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.....it is a USF win....period....how can you not believe that after 0-9 on ESPN Thursday nights. The curse is very strong and I thought it would end last Thursday and made the trip to personally see it end. I watched the game again...how else do you explain the missed holding calls in 1st half, the 1st int where review showed ball not in possession as it touched the ground on the roll, our 4th and 1 foot where the Rutgers right DE was offsides (at the least in the neutral zone)....Senior TE missing a TD slant and "propelling" the ball upward for an int. The good thing is that we do not have any more this year.

The 0-9 thing on Thursday nights has more to do with who we are playing than when we are playing.

Seems like it's a group that includes Rutgers, Cincinnati, and WVU. We have beaten those teams on other non Thrusday weeknights before and probably have a winning record in those games.

So, as a realistic football fan, you believe that only because the game is on a Thursday night, we can not win? That is not logical. Say whatever you want about this or that, or football gods, its not realistic. Those are almost always conference games, look how bad our record is in conference in general.

No, it shouldn't matter what day of the week you play. I've never believed in the Thursday night curse argument.

This got me looking back on our wins and losses against cinci and rutgers. We have only beaten each of those teams one time since 2005. That is ridiculous. We beat both of them in 2010, thats it.

Wait, I thought Leavitt beat both of those teams by wide margins every time we played them? I am confused.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
