Yes. Yes. Yes. Admins can close this thread now. No no no.... whats the point of playing a game? To win. USF didn't pay millions to Holtz to teach a bunch of athletes about teamwork and working together. Sure they learn that while on the team but the main reason he was brought in was to win football games. Now you can close the thread.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Admins can close this thread now. Last time I checked we don't pay $1,500 a year for football tickets so kids can be good students and people. They are on scholarship and playing football for a reason. As long as their eligible to play, don't get in trouble and win games I'm happy. All money making college sports is about winning. Produce wins or gtfo.

I'm not sure it's realistic to think he will come in a turn this offense around. You say it as if hes just a new QB. The dude won MVP at elite 11 when he wasnt even expected to make the top 11. And for the paysite lovers hes now the #2 dual threat QB behind a guy he beat out at the camp. And if you watch film from this year you can see how much better of a passer he is now and you can see why coaches have been raving about him. This kid is the whole package, unlike BJ BJ was #8 dual threat. he's played the position for 1+ year in high school. 1 skills camp means little. trust me if he starts to fly above radar he will get better offers and go somewhere else. what happens if skip whiffs on his messiah? scout lists his weaknesses. pocket awareness and decision making. sound familiar? the guy is a project. his stats last year were less than impressive. And judging from the way we're playing, I wouldn't be surprised if Asiantii flipped his commitment again (cough cough Cameron)

You're not this stupid. .... well, maybe you are. If someone's only been playing qb for a year what do you think his weaknesses would be? And how many qb's coming out of high school aren't going to be a project of some sort. In your haste to throw Holtz under the bus, stop trying to take a high school kid with him. And then people say he will de-commit if he gets higher interest. He already de commited once just to see how those other schools were and committed here on a live radio show. He's a bull and thankfully he doesnt over react like half the people on this board

Unexcusable and pitiful. Never want him on this team Oh, just like how Nick Saban did with the Dolphins? How that worked out for Alabama? I'll take him over Chokeslap Jim any day. I don't care for Saban but he handled the similar situation a lot better than the spineless weasel Petrino did ...

Petrino has had three straight high-profile gigs, and hasn't left any of them on good terms. Fans will always be upset when a successful coach bails for another job, but Petrino also pissed off and/or seriously disappointed administrators, media, players ... basically everyone associated with each of his previous jobs. Saban can't compare. But it's moot because USF wouldn't hire him even if Holtz were going to be out of here. And I doubt Petrino's next gig will be a head coaching job, but worse people have gotten a greater number of chances I suppose. Maybe.
