Nevadas offense is basically the same as WV's offense, just weaker. There is excuse for not knowing what to expect... This is like the 15th time you've posted this .... has anybody agreed yet? Just trying to get it through some thick skulls out there that think that Nevada's offense was so revolutionary that its awesomeness dumbfounded our defense... I don't think WVU runs plays out of the pistol formation which is very important. It's not a common offense Like Greg said before, it took us a few drives to figure it out. We got it, and they only scored 10 points after that.

Rodriguez's success with the spread option (pistol) at WVU changed the college football landscape in the 2000s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offensive_philosophy_%28American_football%29 http://www.downthedrive.com/2011/11/9/2548164/film-study-the-wvu-running-game
