Exactly what jinx busting wins has he done?? We still lose every Thursday under Holtz and we lose BE games. 5-7 last year. Don't really think he had shown he's good at things yet. Don't get me wrong I'm hoping he does this year. Just looking at things realistically.

I hate looking at things realistically ! My heart says 10-2 with a big BCS Bowl win. My head says will Holtz show us something this year ? Not impressed so far.

Hoping for a win, obviously, but after last season I'm not getting my hopes up. If we win, we win. If we lose, we lose. At the very least I hope to see some improvement in the offense today.

we've seen a few good teams so i dont really want to just be good this year and challenge for BE.

I expect to WIN the BE this time.

Exactly. Great teams don't lose to the likes of Nevada or any mid major FBS school during a championship run. If we lose our program isn't good enough yet. Just that simple.

I've said this all summer to those who have expressed more concern about Nevada than Thursday at Rutgers and the rest of the Big East schedule. Nevada appears to be a good team but, if we don't beat them, we don't desrve to be in the running. We start getting the picture today.
