If we have more than 30,000 walk through the turnstiles I'll be shocked. This is a team that drew 17,000 actual bodies for a key game against Louisville.

That being said announced = 39,000

11:00am kickoff the morning after Thanksgiving after losing 5 of the last 6 games. There was nothing key about that game except for the team to salvage some pride and they didn't.

Its the home opener against a cup cake school... Also I think that the bump in season tickets came from FSU fans and not from USF fans, so I think that there will be less then most expect.

Let's not forget that the local area HSFB games have been moved to Saturday if I'm not mistaken due to the RNC. I think this may have a small impact on the attendance as well as it being UT Chat as well. My guess is under 30K.

If we get more than 30k butts in seats I will be pleasantly surprised considering that Hillsborough County high school games are being played that night ...

you must realize that "announced attendance " has little to do with "butts in seats". I realize that this may seem like the devil Twittah and that new fangled math to you, but please try to keep up for the audience at home.
